Business and Technical Research
Often in business you need to perform some research in order to be able to make a decision. No-one will know immediately the answer to your questions. You need someone who can research for you, and present the research in a way that you can quickly digest and use in making your decisions. I couldn't find anyone to do this for me, so I had to do it myself. Perhaps I can help you by doing it for you, saving you from extra work and time.
Apparently it is an unusual skill that I have, where I can quickly search information and determine what is useful and what is not. Also with the advent of the internet you also need to determine what is just plain wrong!
To me it is a natural process - a way of thinking - so that the answer can be identified, and justified with common sense or scientific proof. In my years running a company I would really have valued someone with these skills who could have helped me - something I am sure I can do for you.
From a small brief I would be able to undertake research, write reports and make presentations. I would only report and present things that I have taken the time to fully understand, so I would normally be able to discuss the research with you or your team quite thoroughly.
