My offer to customers of HUNT ENGINEERING

HUNT ENGINEERING is not making any new developments, you can read some of the story in my Background.

Up until April 2012 HUNT ENGINEERING will continue to trade, and is in fact Niki and I. During that time HUNT ENGINEERING will continue to offer you sales, warranty and support services for the existing HUNT ENGINEERING products. From April 2011 HUNT ENGINEERING will not be accepting orders from new customers, but will continue to offer warranty and support on the products sold before then.

During this close down period of HUNT ENGINEERING, it really makes sense for you as user of the products to make plans for after April 2012. I want to help you to do this, so that the closure of the company doesn't disrupt your business.

For each of you the solution will be different - perhaps some of you can make a last time buy, and have enough boards for the future. Others might want to assess some alternative suppliers and port your code and system to them. Others might like a fully custom design with the exact features that you dream of for your next generation systems. I am ready to help you with these decisions and processes as much or as little as you want me to.

For the initial stage, I am happy to consult with you free of charge, so that we can kick around some ideas. We can do that via email, or the phone. If you want to come and visit us for a meeting you are very welcome, if you prefer me to come to you I am happy to do that if you cover the expenses.

From this initial discussion, if there is something that I can help with it must be to our mutual benefit which means that I will make you a quotation for it to help you choose the way forward.

If you choose that you do not want me involved, I am happy with that - as long as you are not badly affected by the closure of HUNT ENGINEERING.

After the final closure of HUNT ENGINEERING Niki and I will still be around for some time, and will try and help if we can. What we will not be doing is maintaining an expensive stock level of components, so it is not at all certain that we can supply or repair products, nor what their price or lead time will be.
